This World Heart Day, the World Heart Federation is calling on all members and the community to take action by signing a global petition aimed at encouraging nations to implement comprehensive cardiovascular health plans and make cardiovascular health a priority. Their goal is to collect over 1 million signatures to save lives and promote better heart health worldwide. WHF urges all governments and decision-makers to implement a comprehensive action plan to tackle the world’s leading cause of death—cardiovascular disease (CVD). With more than 20 million lives lost each year, the time to act is now. |
